Classes

So I'm running lots of classes at the moment. Acting and public speaking. One on one students doing well and the group classes I do are a lot of fun. We have been looking at storytelling, improvisation and presence - that all important x factor!

Youth Theatres

I'm really enjoying directing with Abdabs in Witney on Saturdays.
We are working on St Trinians, which they will perform at Easter.
Great fun, lots of games and a really good script to act.
Come along and find out.

Summer Workshop

I am directing 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' the first week of August.
All ages welcome.
Held at Wood Green School.

We will rehearse Monday - Friday, with a performance on Saturday 6th August.

This will be so much fun! Through acting, singing and dancing we will put on this fabulous show and then perform it to family and friends on the Saturday night.

Confidence Boost

Confidence Boost is a 2 day workshop that a colleague and I are running as part of our series of workshops to improve quality of life! It might be at work or in your social life, but boosting your confidence can have wonderful results and make you far happier and more fulfilled.

Summer show

Just working through suggestions for the Summer Workshop for kids this year.
Also, looking for a venue near Witney for the show on the Saturday night.
It's going to be great fun, so why not get involved?
'Wind in the Willows' at Easter and 'Stars' last summer were both wonderful experiences.

Exams

Waiting for results for some of my pupils for their LAMDA acting exams. Think I'm more nervous than they are! I'm sure they will all have done brilliantly and I am very proud of them all anyway. Cracking actors!
Well done for another great term and looking forward to continuing next term.

Easter workshop

Hi there and Happy Easter!
Last week I directed my adaptation of 'Wind in the Willows' at the Corn Exchange in Witney.
It was so much fun and we had a great group ranging from 5 - 15yrs old.
We will be doing another show in the summer holidays so do let me know if you're interested in signing up for a fun filled week of acting, singing and dancing!
We haven't decided what it will be yet, but I'll post as soon as we have.

Well it's been a busy month. The Abingdon prep sessions are going really well. We are doing a very varied programme and the boys are performing brilliantly. Huge progress in just half a term.
I am also tutoring adults at the moment which is great and very rewarding. It promises to be a creative and liberating process. There is an artist within us all, the child who likes to play, and it think it's really important to tap into this regardless of what your job is.

Stagecoach

I have been working with Stagecoach recently who offer acting, singing and dancing classes at the weekend.
Last week I was doing early stages at Bourton on the Water which is for 4-7 year olds. There are classes right the way through to 17 year olds.
Next week, in addition to Bourton I will be at Wood Green teaching drama to the main school, which is three goups spanning 8 - 17 year olds.

What I've been up to

This summer I directed a show at the Corn Exchange in Witney called 'Stars'.
The actors were aged 5-14!
We all had a great time and the show was a huge success.
This Christmas we will be producing 'A Christmas Carol' so please get in touch if you are interested in performing with us.

I am teaching an after school group at Abingdon Prep where we look at character, physicality and text work as well as using lots of fun acting and improvisation games. If this is something you would be interested in just get your school to contact me or do so yourself.

My 1to1 tuition is very varied. We can look at whatever particularly interests you. I'm even doing some mask work with a couple of students.
